Nadira is pleased to announce that she is now offering a group
class
in Union square, Somerville. New Students are now being accepted!
Early bird discounts are available for those who register with full payment
by July 30th.

Friday, August 8th, 7:00pm:
Nadira will be appearing at House
of Shimmy in Taunton. This dancer-organized event features five
dancers (including three legends from Boston's Golden Age) and an all-star
band. Tickets are $28 in advance, $35 at the door, or $10/12 for kids, which
includes dinner and the show. Seating is first-come, first-served, so be sure
to get there early!
Sunday, November 16th:
Nadira will be competing in the Jewel
of the Nile Middle Eastern Dance Pageant in Cherry Hill, NJ (near Philadelphia).
The details haven't been published yet, but check back for details.
Recent Performances:
Friday, July 11th, appx 8:15pm:
Nadira will be appearing at the Athenian
Corner in Lowell. The food is fantastic, band is great, and your kids are
welcome! Reservations are recommended, and be sure to ask for a table with
a view of the stage!
Friday, January 18th, around Midnight:
Nadira will be appearing at 1001 Nights at The
711 Boylston Nightclub at 711 Boylston St. in Boston. The doors open at
10pm and my show starts at Midnight. I believe the show is 21+ and has an
admission fee (email 711Fridays@gmail.com for
more details). This is a great club night with a mix of western, Indian, and
Arabic pop music, mixed for dancing.
Saturday, March 29th:
Nadira will be teaching and performing at Shimmies
for a Cure. Her workshop, 9/8
911: a Karsilama Emergency Kit begins at 12:30, and the
show starts at 6pm.
Saturday, May 3rd:
Nadira will be appearing in Amira Jamal's
student show. Time and location TBD.
Thursday, May 15th:
Nadira will be appearing with the
Jewels of Jamal at the Athenian
Corner in Lowell. Time TBD, but probably around 8pm. This event typically
sells out, so make your reservation early!
